The strongest connection between Bluebird
& Sunflower is the endless love of being outside, exploring, and
discovering the beauty of nature. For me, there is no greater inspiration
or environment capable of bringing such profound joy, pleasure, and peace to my
melancholy and healing soul.
As I have
only just embarked on this mental self-preservation and restoration journey, I
have decided to begin in a place where I have NEVER been able to have a
negative thought or emotion cross my mind -- outside in nature. I am peaceful,
content, and wide-eyed to the endless beauty continuously unfolding - before my
eyes.
Another
unexpected discovery that I had not considered was the presence and opportunity
to interact with other people who were also walking along similar paths - as it
were. In fact, I was happy to have encountered and spoken with several people
today as I carefully navigated the trails found at the Cornelia Carey Sanctuary.
I am
grateful for all the smiles and tail-wagging friends, I met today on my
mini-exploration. There are some amazing adventures awaiting me as I continue
to explore nature's paths - which are the greatest assets available - in
abundance for healing and transforming my daily thought patterns.
